"A 62 years old Singaporean was travelling to the U.S to see his relatives. He was detained after he engaged in the routine fingerprint scan. His finger prints were gone.
It was a misery, he was transferred to a nearby hospital for check up, its was discovered that, he was under to keep his head and neck in check. The drug Capecitabine had given him a hand-foot ."
Further more, A deep injury on your finger or toe can change the initial pattern of your fingerprint. This can result to nullification by the fingerprint scanner. An already stored fingerprint may not be recognized by the scanner.
He was told his fingerprints will return after the effect of the drug has faded off if the medicine didn't cause him a permanent syndrome.
